Steps To Create Your Own Wedding Anniversary Card

The 50th wedding anniversary is an occasion that most people are never fortunate enough to celebrate. In fact, most people get divorced within a few years as evidenced by the high divorce rate. Therefore, you should definitely celebrate the 50-year mark with a huge celebration. Hopefully, the couple will feel young again after attending this light-hearted party. A great way to celebrate the occasion is to make your own unique card.

Making it yourself is one of the best ways to get a beautiful card. You should try making one if you’ve never made one before. You can make a unique card using various methods. Buy some cardstock, and you’re ready to get started, even if you don’t think you have any creative talent.

An easy yet thoughtful card to make starts with a copy of a picture of the couple in the early days of their marriage. Using a flowing, cursive font, type “Remember when”You could use a beautiful font with “Remember when”. You should glue the words and the picture on the front of the piece of cardstock. You could use a current photo to put in the inside of the card. The edge of the photo could contain the names of the couple’s kids and grandkids.

I’m sure there are plenty of homemade cards with pictures on them that you can find on the internet. Finding them will give you plenty of ideas for making cards on your own. Even if you aren’t that creative, you can still make your own card. For example, try gluing a ruffled paper heart doily in the middle of the front of a folded cardstock. Then, you could simply add a bow to the inside of the heart. To finish the front of this card, all you’ll need to do is add a lovely picture you’ve cut from a magazine or super ornate lettering spelling out “50 Years”.
