Before you’d be able to select a venue, you should first identify what type of wedding do you like? Garden? Church? How big or small you want your wedding to be? The size of your wedding usually depend on the budget or the intention of keeping a wedding as solemn as possible. So set a budget that would be enough to accommodate your targeted number of guests beforehand. But before you settle for a venue, know if your selected location is capable of accommodating the number of guests you have.

Ask about the facilities of your wedding venue. Find out if the place would be air-conditioned. Would there be a room that can be used to freshen up? Is there a parking lot nearby or in the vicinity of the venue itself? How long would you be allowed to use the venue? Ask the person in charge for any restrictions. Find out is there are extra services you might need during the wedding day. Be clear about extra and hidden charges. This way, you can avoid paying for hidden charges that would make you exceed to your set budget.
